Meet Our Partners

We’re fortunate to have a number of dedicated charity partners who have made a commitment to support our work with children and families through the investment of their funds, talent and time. These include:

ALDI

The Barnardos & ALDI partnership began in 2020 based on shared goals of supporting local and national for a better future. Since then, the partnership has blossomed into a hugely collaborative effort raising awareness of the support Barnardos provides to over 26,000 children and families and raising €1.6 million towards Early Years (age 1-5) and Family Supports. Partnership initiatives include product donations, customers initiatives, staff fundraising, donation in kind from Back to School to pollinator plants in our services gardens and lots more besides. Barnardos are very much part of the ALDI family and we really appreciate the ongoing support.

DELL Technologies

Barnardos were delighted to form a strategic partnership with Dell Technologies in 2017 to improve Barnardos services to children and families in the communities in which they operate. This partnership spans employee engagement and volunteering as well as commercial support with skill sharing and sponsorship of Barnardos Giving Day. In addition Dell Technologies and Barnardos have worked together to harness their skills to help improve digital literacy amongst children we are working with to deliver bespoke Code Work Clubs in Dublin, Limerick and Cork.

Christmas FM

Working together since 2021, every year we join the airwaves to support Ireland’s most vulnerable children.

Hallmark

Hallmark have supported Barnardos work for over 15 years in the UK & Ireland, through donating the proceeds of their Christmas boxed card range & individual All of You range.

Saint-Gobain

Saint-Gobain has been supporting Barnardos since 2017 via their sites across Ireland. A family and supportive community culture is shared by both organisations and that really drives the support. Staff from Cavan, Dublin, Clare & Kildare and beyond join forces to create ways to support from tractor raffles to cross county cycles, family days, volunteering as well as a monthly lottery. No stone is left unturned in finding ways to support vulnerable children and families across Ireland. Thank you Saint-Gobain!

The Irish Sun

Barnardos are grateful to The Irish Sun for sharing the stories of our work and the impact it has on the lives of some of Ireland’s most vulnerable children. This partnership builds awareness in the media, encourages staff to fundraise and they organise the Barnardos children’s colouring competition.

Heinz

Heinz and Barnardos joined forces back in 2020 with the aim of improving the lives of children and families across Ireland, specifically around the back to school time. Heinz give their iconic Beanz packaging a makeover at this time of year and donate for every pack purchased to Barnardos Breakfast clubs.

Other Contributions

We’re lucky to work with a variety of companies that provide ongoing support to Barnardos.

In addition to our charity partners, Barnardos are grateful to have the support from the following companies who contribute through their products, services, donations, staff fundraising and gift in kind.
