Join us in celebrating 25 years of the Barnardos Teddy Bear Raffle and help us make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and families this festive season!
We all know the comfort a teddy bear can bring. By hosting a Barnardos Teddy Bear Raffle with your colleagues, club, school, or friends you can help us to provide comfort to these families. With your help we can give these children the happy Christmas they deserve, but also a brighter future to look forward to. Because childhood lasts a lifetime.
Every ticket sold contributes to you being there for families facing challenging times. Funds raised will go directly toward providing warm, nutritious meals through our breakfast clubs and after-school programs; offering practical support to families, including food parcels, fuel vouchers, and basic essentials; and ensuring access to therapeutic support for children and their families.
Let’s honor this incredible 25 year legacy and spread joy and comfort this Christmas. Together we can really make a difference to the life of children, just like Connor.

We’ll send you everything you need to host your raffle, including tickets, posters AND a Barnardos Teddy.
Pick a date that works for you and start planning some festive fun.
Encourage colleagues, suppliers, and friends to buy tickets. You can sell physical tickets or host your fundraising online with an iDonate raffle!
Return your collected funds by Friday 13th December so we can put them to good use. You’ll also be entered into our Sellers Prize*.

Tips to make your fundraising raffle a success
- Add your Barnardos Teddy Bear to a Christmas hamper filled with festive treats to make your raffle even more special.
- Host your raffle alongside a festive bake sale or mince pie morning – even a karaoke sing-along. Let us know if you’d like additional materials such as balloons or posters.
- Ramp up the festivities by wearing your best, funniest, or most creative Christmas jumper and award small prizes to the winners!
- Don’t be afraid to ask for support! Share details of your event via email, in Whatsapp groups, or on your social media channels.
- Many companies offer a Matching Funds Scheme for staff fundraising. Check with your workplace to see if your funds can be doubled.
Sellers Prize Draw T&Cs
- Participation in this competition implies acceptance of these terms.
- Entry is only open to registered raffle organizers participating in the Barnardos Teddy Bear Raffle.
- Each registered Raffle Organizer (Seller) who returns their funds by Friday, 13th December will be automatically entered into the prize draw for a chance to win a €200 One4All voucher.
- The winner will be notified by phone.
- The judges’ decision is final, and the winner will be informed within 7 days of the closing date.

The Barnardos Teddy Bear Raffle is a festive fundraiser that’s been running for 25 years. By hosting a raffle at your workplace, school, or community, you help raise funds to support vulnerable children and families across Ireland. Each raffle includes a special Build-A-Bear teddy, and the funds raised will go toward services like warm meals, food parcels, and therapeutic support for children and their families.
You can pick a date that suits your group to hold the raffle, but be sure to return your funds by Friday, 13th December to make sure your contributions count toward this year’s campaign.
Anyone can host a raffle! Whether you’re organising at your workplace, school, or with friends in your community, everyone is welcome to join in and help us celebrate 25 years of the Teddy Bear Raffle.

Your fundraising pack will be sent shortly after you sign up, so you’ll have plenty of time to organise your raffle.

With just a few clicks, you can set up and oversee ticket sales and raffle administration with ease. In as little as 10 minutes, you can launch your online raffle and begin raising crucial funds.
It takes approximately 10 minutes to set up an online raffle once your cause is registered with iDonate.
iDonate will contact the Barnardos, who will need to approve your raffle before it goes live.
No, there are no setup costs. Only standard donation fees apply when tickets are sold. You can learn more about iDonate fees at our fees page.
Yes, you can add a custom banner, images, and detailed prize descriptions. You can also choose whether to display or hide the names of ticket buyers, hide your target, hide your total raised, and more.
Absolutely. You can offer a range of ticket prices with volume discounts, such as 1 for €10, 3 for €25, or 10 for €50.
