Beverley McMackin (Stafford)

Barnardos would like to offer sincere condolences to the family and friends of our much loved colleague Beverley McMackin (Stafford).

It is with deep sadness that we have learned of the death of our much loved and valued colleague Bev.

Bev has worked to improve the lives of children, families and the community in Finglas for more than 20 years. She leaves behind her a legacy in the impact and change she has brought to young people’s lives, and in her contribution of bringing the permanent premises of the Finglas Family Resource Centre to the area – a place that is open to all.

Bev represented the very best of Barnardos, bringing her joy, her commitment and a sense of hope, fun and possibility into her work every day.

She will be missed dearly, our love goes to her husband Conleth, her son Charlie and daughter Lily-May, and to all her family and friends – many of whom worked alongside her every day.
